Prefontaine

I should be sleeping now to get ready for OCBC but I need to pen this thought down and come back and look at it time and again.

"...I run a race to see who has the most guts"

Prefontaine's coach, Bowerman (if you know him good for you) famously said: If you can find meaning in an absurd pastime: running, you can find meaning in another absurd pasttime: life.

(fyi, Bowerman started out a small company making shoes for his runners and distributing Onitsukas, today, this small company is called Nike. Saddly, Pre never got to wear his pair of Nikes made for him to Montreal)

I previously posted about some things i wanna do in my life. I will add another here:

1. Run 3 miles at the Oregon track. Stay silent for 12'36'' and run though the pre trail.
